My annual review for 2024
Looking back, the 2024 year was a pretty difficult year for me. On the other hand, that was a year of professional development, full of various meetings, connections, activities and events. In addition, I fulfilled some of my 2024 New Year’s resolutions. So, I’m pretty happy with the results.
About the 2024 New Year's resolutions
- I read more books, but it's hard to mention all of them. This year I plan to start a
notes
section on this blog. - I started to write more about programming and interesting events. Usually, I post events' reviews on linkedin.
- I reached my goal and improved my touch typing speed from 64wpm to 80wpm. This year I'm going to practice more this technique just to keep typing fit.
Achievements
- I did my first presentation for the Software Crafters Barcelona community.
- I participated all of the DDD Universe workshops. Many kudos to @alchemist_devel.
- I participated the Global Day of Coderetreat and met some very interesting people there.
- I got a good handle on vim and ideavim (and improved my workflow).
- I reworked some of my open-source packages and created some new ones.
- I contributed to different open-source projects.
