Keychron C1 Pro review
As you probably know, I’m trying to find a new daily driver keyboard. After I tried red switches, I got the urge to experiment and find something more convenient for my daily typing. As the Keychron company offers very good keyboards, I made a decision to try the Keychron C1 Pro.
I want to make a disclaimer first. I don’t want an expensive or top-notch keyboard. I just want a keyboard which is comfortable to type at different speeds for about 8 hours a day. Ideally, the keyboard should be heavy and solid, but we’re living in a non-perfect world. But, back to the Keychron keyboard. After watching some reviews, one of them caught my eye. The keyboard from the review looked very promising. In addition, there was a room for modding. So, why not?
I got a keyboard with red switches (K Pro Red to be precise). And the first impression was very positive. The keyboard was designed and built very well. Fingers fit nicely on the keyboard. Keycaps were pleasant to touch and type on.
But, after using it for about a week, I noticed that the keyboard felt kind of strange. It’s exceedingly responsive. It’s like a sports car with no suspension when you feel every road bump. The same is with this keeb - you feel every keystroke and I couldn’t say that this is a pleasant feeling.
It seems I have to continue my keyboard adventures!
